Mahatma Gandhi Ayurvigyan Vidyapeeth - Data Deletion Instructions

At Mahatma Gandhi Ayurvigyan Vidyapeeth, we value your privacy and are committed to giving you full control over your personal data. If you have used our platform, registered an account, or logged in via third-party services like Facebook Login, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal activities and data from our systems.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request the removal of your account and associated data through any of the following methods:

Method 1: Account Deletion via Dashboard

  1. Log in to your account on https://mgavidyapeeth.com/.

  2. Navigate to your Profile / Account Settings.

  3. Scroll down to the Delete Account section.

  4. Confirm your request. Your personal information will be permanently removed from our active databases.

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access your account dashboard or want to request deletion manually:

  • Send an email from your registered email address to info@mgavidyapeeth.com.

  • Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request".

  • Provide your registered Name and Username/Email.

  • Our support team will process your request and completely erase your data within 7 business days.

Method 3: For Facebook Login Users (App Data Removal)

If you created an account on our platform using the Facebook Login button, you can remove your activities by following these steps on Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook Profile's Settings & Privacy > Settings.

  2. Click on Apps and Websites in the left menu.

  3. Find Mahatma Gandhi Ayurvigyan Vidyapeeth and click Remove.

What Data is Deleted?

Upon receiving a valid request, we permanently delete:

  • Your profile information (Name, Email, Phone number).

  • Your login credentials.

  • Your specific usage history and logs.

> Note on Data Retention: As an educational institution, we may legally retain non-personal academic records, such as certificates issued, exam marks, and financial transaction history, to comply with regulatory, legal, and tax requirements in India
